Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Pat White appears to have suffered a concussion and nothing more serious from the wicked hit he sustained against the Steelers today.
White had to be carted off the field on a backboard but attending medical personnel felt the rookie quarterback was fine. He was taken to a local hospital with his helmet still on for observation.
White was the second quarterback the Dolphins lost during the game, the starter Chad Henne left with an eye injury in the first half. Post game Dolphins coach Tony Sparano spoke of White's condition saying "The information that we have is that he's doing OK."
